Our Hunting

Since the introduction of the Hunting Act 2004, the CVNNH has adopted its preferred method of hunting by way of laying a trail.

The object of trail hunting is to simulate, as realistically as possible, traditional hunting practised before the ban.

In Scotland, the CVNNH follows the rules laid down by the Hunting with Dogs (Scotland) Act 2023.
