CVNNH Carols Evening 22nd December 2017

Just before Christmas, the CVNNH held their annual Carols Evening in the beautifully decorated St. Gregory’s Kirk Newton.

The Farr boys piped everyone into the church which was nearly full.

The music ensemble consisted of 1 trombonist and 1 cellist, 2 keyboard players, 3 flautists, 4 clarinetists and 5 singers.

The readings were well received and after mulled wine and mince pies, the vicar, Suzanne blessed everyone including our horses and hounds.

The retiring collection made nearly £400 which was split between the church and hunt funds.  Thank you to everyone who supported this event.
