A huge collection or pre-loved clothes went on sale at the Lady Waterford Hall, Ford, raising money for the hunt and McMillan Cancer Care.

This well-supported cross-country ride started near South Haazelrigg and took riders across grass fields, tracks, stubbles and moorland. There was a choice of 7 and 10 mile routes with optional jumps and a halfway drinks stop. Proceeds went to the CVNNH and North Northumberland Hospice Care.

At the Hethpool Show Field, in the heart of the College Valley, our annual country show was well attended. Including hound, terrier, lurcher and family dog classes, there were also sheepdog trials. A 75 bird sporting competition for two person teams was held by the CVNNH Bike Club at Elsdonburn. Prizes included cartridges, shooting lessons and meals for two at a fantastic local restaurant. The ticket price included lunch, kindly sponsored by T R Johnson Butchers of Wooler.

This cross country ride, starting at Milfield, took riders across some stunning scenery, over grass fields and hills. Riders took to the course in small groups and enjoyed a drinks stop along the way. Pictures are available from MPG Photography.

The NNH Supporters held a Curry Supper evening at Etal Village Hall with guest speaker Kate McTaggart describing her 1,000km race across the Mongolian Steppe on semi-feral ponies.
