CVNNH Carols Evening

The Carols Evening was a great success at St. Gregory's at Kirk Newton on the 21st December.  The Hunt Ensemble excelled themselves this year with a compositions of christmassy songs:  Max Humphries and Paul McDermott played a very jazzy version of Deck the Halls and Julia Wailes-Fairbairn sang solos with Paul McDermot and David Wood accompanying her on the keyboard.  Our vicar, Rev Judith welcomed us everyone, wishing them a very Happy Christmas, and a retiring collection raised £250 for the church.  Many thanks to everyone, especially those who provided the refreshments.
